First attempt on the dish and was easier than expected, recipe was reference from kuali, quite statisfied with the end result but there's still room for improvement...
Roasted 2 pieces and pass 1 piece to my mum, she had bought some from market that day, the pork I roasted have thicker crust of the skin makes it more crispy than the store bought one. The taste was nice to me, but I should roast the pork belly on a rack else the salt on the skin will drip down to the meat which make it more salty. Not much oil splattered in the oven, or may be becos only cook 2 500g piece only.
Thanks for the tips, shall keep in mind to use a rack if (that's a big IF) I should try this, haha. So how did you roast yours, I mean without the rack, just on the oven tray isit?
Ah, now that I hear no oil splattered, I might try this after CNY then.

Nice crackling, Jennifer. How's the taste like, of course better than store-bought ones?
Was there lots of oil splattered in the oven? That was what's holding me back from attempting this :)
